Recruitment Partnering provides the ultimate solution to all of the above problems by dealing with the issues before they occur in the form of client / site specific inductions which are held on site and at no extra cost. Client specific briefing forms to back-up the induction processes and testing to ensure that the information has been passed to the respective temporary worker effectively.
The client and consultant both have a list of available people for the specific site who have passed the induction and are happy with the environment, work and details. When short notice bookings come on, the client knows the temporary worker will immediately be a productive member of the team as he knows his expectations, the temporary worker will be well versed in his duties, will know how to get to the site and more importantly who to report to and will be confident that he has signed or clocked in, in the right place to ensure he gets paid properly and on time. Additionally, the consultant will have the same list of people as the client so that he can quickly contact them and send them on site with the knowledge they re going to do a good job.

We take our responsibility to the smooth running of your operation very seriously and consequently our systems and procedures have been designed and implemented to tackle any issue arising from using temporary labour. All our strategies are based on generic problem areas arising from using an outsourcer for recruitment solutions
Typical Problem Areas
Below are some common problems experienced by companies who utilise agency staff, which can lead to a frustrated and less effective management team who are unable to concentrate fully on the work they are employed to do.
POOR RETENTION OF STAFF
Your company spends considerable time and effort training and inducting staff only to find that just as the worker has become a valuable member of your team they leave and this frustrating process begins again. Keeping the staff loyal comes of making sure their pay and conditions are what they want and giving the right kind of work and plenty of it!
- POOR COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
If the worker cannot understand the basics of written and spoken English this can cause major problems trying to give basic instructions or getting across company health and safety policies. We conduct a basic numeric and literary test to try and find each individual’s compatibility to a position.
- IMPROPERLY BRIEFED WORKERS
Temporary staff are often placed on assignments where they have no experience in the environment or no relevant experience of your type of work. It is important to give the workers information regarding who to report to; where your company is; how to get there; a brief explanation of the position; what to do if he or she has any problems; what to do with timesheets and general bespoke information about your company i.e. dress code.
Often this information is not passed onto workers, which can have major consequences like the temp walking off the job or worse not showing up at all. Our experience, coupled with industry research shows that the success of an assignment depends wholly on the initial briefing so we spend considerable time on this subject.
POOR QUALITY OF TEMPORARY WORKERS
Agency recruitment and selection processes are at times not thorough enough and in some cases non-existent, which leads to poor quality temps and/or temps with little or no experience.
Whilst an agency cannot show every worker each assignment personally, they can be responsible for their selection and vetting processes and finding out exactly what type of job the worker is willing to do (in terms of position, hours and shifts), exactly how far they are prepared to travel and any prior commitments which will interfere with their work.
It is imperative to get copies of relevant certification and if necessary identification documentation and check 100% of their references – if possible
- REPLACEMENTS / ADDITIONAL STAFF
A genuine 24-hour service is critical to ensure staffing levels are maintained at optimum, as are regular advertising campaigns.
